I don't know if it's because it's Georgia, or the position of the tree to the sun; but this nest seems to have the most beautiful colors no matter what's happening. Whether it's raining, dark, sun up, sun high or sun down, It's beautiful!!

We've had SO much rain here lately. It seems like as soon as the Berry Eagles bring in lots of fluff, make a bowl and settle down to get started on their eggs, here comes another week of rain that pounds and packs all their fluff back down into the nest. I don't know what effect the weather has on this or if it has any effect at all but we are supposed to have a whole week without rain now! YAHOO! Maybe they can make some lasting progress and get this show on the road. They are busy this morning trying to fluff up their wet nest.
