Follow Big Red and Chayton high atop the Jackson County Tower Building in Michigan. This is a good cam with IR but has no sound. This nest has FIVE eggs! Incubation started after 3rd egg was laid on March 27th so hatching should begin around the end of April.

2014 Falcon Report

Big Red and Chayton began nesting at the Jackson County Tower Building after a two-year effort by Jackson County Board of Commissioner Chairman James "Steve" Shotwell. The falcons had been seen in downtown Jackson for many years, but it took adding a pea gravel to the Tower Building for nesting to occur.

In 2010, Big Red and Chayton fledged three (3) chicks that were named Jackson, Ella and Ernie.

In 2011, Big Red laid five (5) eggs, but only three (3) fledged. The three chicks were named Betty, Rose and Sparky.

In 2012, an additional four (4) chicks fledged, and they were named Liberty, Justice, Freedom and Grace.

In 2013, Big Red laid five (5) eggs, but only four (4) fledged. The four chicks were named by Citizen Patriot readers as Millie, Cascade, Coney and Tower.
