Boo already has little feathers coming in! When Boo leaves the box in about 3 weeks this cam will go off. We don't have much time to spend with Boo but I have LOVED watching these owls. First time for me seeing Barred Owls.

I have watched a lot of owl cams and a lot of owlets but I have NEVER seen anything like Boo! Boo consumed an unbelievable amount of food yesterday. From crawdads to frogs to whole birds and fish - Bottomless Boo ate them all and was still eating when I went to bed last night at midnight. Dad had just delivered Boo one of those big crayfish that Boo immediately grabbed and gulped down and Mom immediately followed up by bringing in a catfish which Boo was more than happy to try to eat that, too! UNREAL. They keep an Event Log of all the happenings at the nest and I went back and read everything Boo ate in a 24 hour period from Feb. 11th - 12th. HOLY COW!!!! By the look on Little Bottomless Boo's face, s/he seems quite pleased and content! Boo had to do without food for a little while Tuesday night during the storm. Boo probably worked up quite an appetite. That's a pretty good diet they have there in Florida.

Wow!! Paul Yorke has been busy. Little Boo is growing up fast.
