I've been down on Mr. Savannah for not stocking the pantry but I'm softening on the guy a little bit. I saw 2 rats brought in last night before I went to bed and they ate them right away. This morning I watched them eating again and I don't know how many they ate while I was asleep. Maybe the poor guy just can't keep up with these eating machines! LOL! It's time for mom to start hunting with him and helping supply the food for these 2 growing owlets which means the fun for us watching them increases exponentially. Let the fun begin! I recorded breakfast this morning.
"Nest is still there but the dangling cam is not live right now. The tree is now like a huge telephone pole with a very stable nest on top. We hope to be able to stabilize the nest cam and put in a new support for the dangling cam. Work may begin later this week."
The nest and the whole tree are looking bad. I don't know how they would use it again especially after the hurricane about finished them off. Her mean.
