I stopped by Eaglecrest this afternoon and was surprised to see a turkey vulture wading in the cobble stream that feeds the pond. The TV was obviously enjoying him/herself, wading up and down the stream, splashing in the water and spreading wings out to the sun, and drinking from the cool stream of water. She/he was in no hurry to leave this respite from the heat.
